I am a happily married mommy of 4 very unique kiddoes. I live a blessed life and am thankful daily for all that God has given me. Each day I try to be the best person I can be. Some days I fall flat on my face, and other days I feel like a queen...like I can do it all. When my time on earth is through, I long to hear, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." I love Jesus, fall/holiday scented candles, going to church, pizza, bookstores, Dr. Pepper, studying the bible, the color turquoise, old Hitchcock movies, coffee, rainy days, friendships with depth, digital scrapbooking, big family get-togethers, Christmas, organizing, lemon/lime, fried pickles, October, scrapbook paper, White House/Black Market, cooking, the Texas Rangers, looking for new recipes, people that are genuine, stories of redemption, Jay Leno, reading to my kids, that my husband cooks things for me that he doesn't even like... I am not fond of fatty meat, people that think JUST because they go to church they are Christians, mistakes in spelling & punctuation, rude people, hearing about babies or children being abused, narcissists, rap music, humidity, small talk...
UNBELIEVABLE...this guy negotiaties "no homework" contract for his kids
What's next? Is he going to get the school to agree that his kids don't have to take tests because the studying gets in the way of extra-curricular activities? I still remember when I was teaching and something was due and students would say they couldn't turn it in because they had football, soccer, ballet, cheer, underwater basketweaving, chess club...etc. I would always tell them, "I know your activities are important but school comes first!!!!" I can't believe this guy is actually a lawyer! What's going to happen when these kids go to college or are out in the real world? Ugh!!! Absolutely ridiculous!!
Wow, is that guy for real?? What's next holding Johnny's hand to college and telling the professor the projects are too hard to handle! Or, meeting with his boss when he gets into the real world because he is working too many hours! Sheeeeesh!!
Matt and I met when we were 18, married at 22, and are still going strong after almost 12 years of marriage. He is my ROCK! After being together for over 16 years, we still have so much fun together! Matt loves 24, scary movies, cooking & grilling, and the Chicago Cubs.
Jacob
Jacob loves drawing, writing, inventing, wizard stuff, cruise ships, tacos, cars, Disneyworld, social studies, and potato soup.
